• Dark lighting causes a dull mood and this helps to sadden the mood of the whole video
• There is a use of slow Mo camera’s which emphasize the moments of the actors in the video and makes each of their movements more dramatic and powerful
• Cutting on the beat of the song and cutting on action helps to show that the visuals are moving with the sounds and this makes the song much more powerful when accompanied by the visuals.

Flume-sleepless-

 

• Use of sunsets help to make a powerful ambience and sets the whole scene and mood for the music video, sunsets also help to show an idea of reflecting on the past and memories and this is why I think it would be a good idea to use them in our music video
• There are a good range of shots used some close ups of a man’s fist and some long shots of him running this picks up with the tempo of the song.
• Shots of the man running from a distance helps to show that the song is reaching a crucial point and we can use this in our music video to show the audience when the music video is reaching important moments.

KÖlsch- Goldfisch-

• The use of out of focus shots helps to create a blur over the scene in what is happening and creates confusion in the scene
• Home video’s is used to help create a powerful effect that this is personal to the artists we could use this because it is a effective way to make a low budget production look professional
• Shots of travelling to different music events means that there is a change in scene and that the visuals are constantly changing this makes it much more interesting for the audience
