- For our shoot, we must identify our course of action, including location times, where and when we will be meeting our actors and props and costumes
- Using our risk assessment and call sheet, will help us to overcome any challenges we have on the day as well follow a structure to our framing and shots which will result in a successful narrative
Actors
After deciding our actors were going to be Oliver Knott and Maria Bobkova, we decided on a date and time that was suitable for everybody to meet. Due to Natalie going on holiday during half term, we decided to shoot our music video on the 15th October. We contacted Maria a week before we decided on the date and asked if she was available on that date and she confirmed. After successfully deciding a date, we all agreed to get the 11:25 train from Sevenoaks up to Waterloo East as a result of their being railway construction at Charing Cross. Throughout the day of filming, we followed our call sheet to order our shots as well as create a number of improvised shots on the day which would be used as filler shots.
Props and Equipment
We didn't have any specific props that we needed to bring with us on the day of the shoot. We bought a hot chocolate on the day which was used to show the couple flirting in the coffee shop. Over the course of the day, we filmed a number of shots of the female character smoking a cigarette to show her being alone in certain locations.
For the equipment, we planned to book the jib, tracking and dolly, tripod and an SD card from our teacher. This was done 4 days before we had decided the day we were filming. After agreeing a day we would come and pick up the equipment from school, Ollie brought in a bag big enough to carry around the equipment for the day of the shoot. After collecting the equipment on Friday, we filled out all of the relevant paperwork that was needed to sign the equipment out of school. On the day of the shoot, the bag proved to be useful which protected the equipment especially when it started raining. After using the equipment, we returned the equipment to school the following Monday successfully.
Costume
We had planned to have our two characters dress casually in our production. This didn't require any planning other than agreeing to wear jeans and appropriate footwear as we would be walking around London from the morning to the night
