What is the hazard?
Think about road safety, filming at night, potential damage to
equipment
Who/what might be harmed and why?
Think about who needs to be aware of the risk
How will you reduce the risk?
What steps will you take to ensure that the risk is lowered?

Train station/ train
Lots of people walking around.
Gaps from trains and platforms trip hazards
Our group and members of the public may be harmed as there are lots of
people we could collide with and we have lots of equipment
By being visual ant when we are walking around making sure that we
don’t bump into people etc.
South bank
Street performers
Steps
Bridge
Street performers attract large crowds which we need to watch out for
as well as the steps on the bridge this is because we are carrying heavy
equipment and therefore need to be careful.
We need to be careful not to drop our equipment off the bridge and
obstruct people.
Watch out for area’s which crowds are walking towards and that street
performers.
Make sure that we all help each other move equipment up and down the
stairs.
Brick lane/ shops in brick lane/ area’s with graffiti
There are crowds of people on art tours around the area which we plan
to film in.
In the shops it is small spaces and we have very big equipment
The members of the public walking around may be injured. Also our
equipment could be bumped into as wellwhich could cause damage to it
Be patient for the art tours to finish before filming or we could be
obstructing peoples view. In the shops if we plan to move around with the
handy cam one person stay still in anopen safe area to look after equipment
we don’t need so we can move more efficiently
Piccadilly circus
This area has lots of road that are very busy as well as lots of
people running around and crossing the road.
This could damage us or out equipment if we are not careful to watch
out for these people
We need to make sure that we cross the road at the appropriate time
and make sure that we avoid large crowds of people
